Viet Thanh Nguyen
Nguyen’s 2015 debut novel, "The Sympathizer,” won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction and was a finalist for the 2015 L.A. Times Book Prize in Mystery/Thriller. “Nothing Ever Dies: Vietnam and the Memory of War,” was a finalist for the National Book Award. His newest novel is “The Refugees.” He co-directs the Diasporic Vietnamese Artists Network and is a professor of English and American studies and ethnicity at USC. He is an LA Times critic-at-large.
