Mullen is the author of "The Last Town on Earth," winner of the James Fenimore Cooper Prize for excellence in historical fiction and USA TODAY'S Best Debut of 2006; "The Many Deaths of the Firefly Brothers;" "The Revisionists;" and his latest, "Darktown," an NPR Best Book of the Year and 2016 Los Angeles Times Book Prize finalist in Mystery/Thriller. He lives in Atlanta with his wife and sons.
