Bagge is the 2014 USA Rockefeller Fellow in Literature, Harvey Award-winning author of the comic series “Hate,” and contributing editor to Reason magazine. Bagge got his start in comics in the R. Crumb-edited magazine “Weirdo.” Drawn & Quarterly has published two biographies by Bagge: 2013's "Woman Rebel: The Margaret Sanger Story,” 2017's "Fire!! The Zora Neale Hurston Story.” Bagge lives in Seattle with his wife, daughter, and three cats.
