Nair is a clinical professor at the USC School of Social Work and an affiliate of the USC Roybal Institute on Aging. His interdisciplinary research interests include alternative health systems and gerontology, and he has written, edited, or co-authored thirteen books, including "Healing Across Cultures and the Good Life: An Approach to Holistic Health.” His cross-national field studies have resulted in the production of twelve documentaries, including four on healthy centenarians.
