Pastor is a professor of sociology and American studies and ethnicity, and director of the Center for the Study of Immigrant Integration, at USC. The author of Equity, Growth, and Community: What the Nation Can Learn from America’s Metro Areas, Pastor researches the economic, environmental, and social conditions of low-income urban communities.
