Jacqueline Woodson
Woodson is the bestselling author of "Another Brooklyn" which was a 2016 finalist for the National Book Award, NAACP Image Award, a 2016 Los Angeles Times’ Christopher Isherwood Prize finalist for Autobiographical Prose, and a #1 Indie Pick. Her 2014 New York Times bestseller "Brown Girl Dreaming" won the National Book Award, Coretta Scott King Award, Newberry Honor Award and Sibert Honor Award. Recently, Woodson was named the Young People's Poet Laureate by the Poetry Foundation. She lives with her family in Brooklyn, New York.
