Davis and David Soman are a husband-and-wife creative team. They write the Ladybug Girl books together and Soman illustrates. The books are inspired by their own children and family experiences. Davis's first non-Ladybug Girl picture book, "Black Belt Bunny,” illustrated by Jay Fleck, will be published in summer 2017.
