The Get Lit Players are an award-winning teen performance troupe from L.A. In the past year, they have performed at the Hollywood Bowl alongside John Legend; on “The Queen Latifah Show;” at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.; and at Lincoln Center in New York. They also ranked No. 3 in the world for spoken word poetry at Brave New Voices, an international youth poetry slam that was held in Philadelphia last year.
