Her comics include “Shade,” “The Changing Girl,”” Soupy Leaves Home,” “The Plain Janes,” “The Year of the Beasts,” and the Eisner nominated “Odd Duck.” Her novels include "Boy Proof," "Beige,” "Tin Star," and "Moving Target: A Princess Leia Adventure.” She is The Rumpus Children's Correspondence Coordinator, a two-time Macdowell Fellow and the founding YA Editor at LA Review of Books.
