Olsen writes the Indie Focus feature and more for the Los Angeles Times and hosts the companion Indie Focus screening series. Having grown up in Kansas, he is a graduate of the University of Kansas and New York University. His work has also appeared in the New York Times, LA Weekly and Interview.
