Escamilla is a writer and documentarian. Born in El Salvador, she went into exile in the 1980's and joined the PEN Center USA Emerging Voice Fellowship.
Gonzalez is the author of two books: Black Bubblegum and Blue Bubblegum. He was born in Los Angeles and is from Salvadorian descent.
Hernandez is a poet and comedian of Guatemalan descent. He maintains the Los Brainiacs Poetry website and was previously published in The Coiled Serpent anthology.
