She has contributed to The New Yorker, The New York Review of Books, The New York Times Magazine, and The New York Times Book Review. She lives in Los Angeles.
Shepard is the author of seven novels and four previous story collections, including his latest, “The World to Come: Stories.” He lives in Williamstown, Massachusetts, with his wife, three children, and three beagles. He teaches at Williams College.
